Welcome to TimeMemory. These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") are entered into between you (the "User") and Yuping Tech ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the TimeMemory application (the "App"). Please read this Agreement carefully before using the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to any provision of this Agreement, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
TimeMemory is a personal diary and memory management application. Users can create "memory" entries containing text, photos, audio recordings, and geographic location information, and organize memories into custom journals. The App provides the following core features:
Create, edit, and delete text / photo / audio memories
Organize memories into albums (journals)
Location tagging and map view for memories
iCloud cloud sync and backup
Biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) for privacy protection
Membership subscription service to unlock premium features
All memory data (text, photos, audio, location, etc.) you create in the App belongs to you. We will not use your private data for any commercial purpose.
Your memory data is stored locally on your device by default. The App does not require account registration, and your data is not automatically uploaded to our servers.
If you enable iCloud sync, your data will be synchronized across your devices via Apple's iCloud service. iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and we have no access to data you store in iCloud.
We recommend that you regularly back up your data via iCloud. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device damage, loss, system failure, or user error.
The App offers an auto-renewing subscription service (the "Membership") to unlock all premium features. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
Subscription fees will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription will automatically renew within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, and the renewal fee will be charged to your account.
Subscription prices are as displayed on the App Store and may vary by region.
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID account settings. After cancellation, you will retain access to Membership benefits until the end of the current billing period, and no further charges will be made.
All refund requests must be processed through the Apple App Store. We are unable to issue direct refunds for subscription fees. To request a refund, please contact Apple Customer Support.
We reserve the right to adjust subscription prices. We will notify you in advance of any price changes, and you may choose to accept the new price or cancel your subscription.
By using the App, you agree not to:
Use the App for any activity that violates applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
Attempt to crack, decompile, or reverse engineer the App.
Use the App to store or distribute illegal, harmful, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content.
Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App.
The software code, interface design, icons, trademarks, and other intellectual property of the App are owned by Yuping Tech and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the intellectual property in content you create within the App (memory entries, uploaded photos, etc.). You grant us a limited license to process such content only to the extent necessary to provide the App's technical services (such as iCloud sync). This license does not include any commercial use rights.
We take your privacy seriously. Our practices for collecting and using your data are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the App's availability, but we are not liable for:
Service interruptions caused by force majeure events (earthquakes, floods, war, network outages, etc.)
Feature disruptions caused by Apple system updates or policy changes
Usage issues caused by device failure or network problems on the user's end
We are not liable for compensation for user data loss caused by device failure, accidental deletion, iCloud sync errors, or similar circumstances. Please back up important data regularly.
The App uses third-party services such as Apple iCloud and the App Store. These services are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple's respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services.
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. After any update, we will notify you through in-app notifications or other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Agreement. If you do not agree to the changes, please stop using and uninstall the App.
This Agreement shall be governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, either party may seek resolution through appropriate legal channels.
